This website serves as your primary point of contact and information source for getting involved in the NHHS Blazing Brigade High School Band Experience!

Here at the NHHS Bands, we travel all across the state, performing at Football Games, Parades, Band Competitions, as well as Concert Performances throughout the Fall and Spring Semester!

Band students are often at the school early and leave very late. There are NO pre-requisites for participation in the band program...this website will help navigate how YOU can become a member of one of the BEST instrumental music programs in Chatham County!

Follow these steps to get registered for the Band Program at New Hampstead High School:

1. Fill out our Registration Form located at the bottom of this page!

2. Download the Band App (located on the banner to the left)...use your legal first and last name...this app is free and widely use amongst band programs across the country...it gives you access to our schedule, the ability to message the director directly, and will notify you of all important band events and updates.

3. Take note of the band camp dates located on our Calendar (see banner to the left)...band camp is 100 percent mandatory for all students wishing to participate in Marching Band for the Fall semester!

4. See the "Important Forms" tab (see banner to the left)...all of these important forms must be signed and on file for every student to participate in the band program at NHHS.

5. See the "Band and Instrumental Music Parental Handbook" (see banner to the left)...all students and parents must read and understand the rules and policies laid out in the band handbook!
